The wellhead arrangement of a typical sucker-rod pumped well in shown in the picture. The polished rod, the uppermost part of the rod string, reciprocates with the movement of the walking beam that is transmitted to the rods by the wireline hanger. The polished rod moves inside the tubing head, on top of which a pumping tee is installed, which leads the fluids produced by the pump into the flowline. Usually, the flowline and the casing vent line are connected with a short pipe section, enabling the gas that separates in the casing-tubing annulus to be led to the flow-line. A check valve is installed on this line to prevent the fluids already produced to flow back to the well. Above the pumping tee, a stuffing box is installed to eliminate leaking of well fluids into the atmosphere.

This system includes two stages as an emergency shut-off, which is introduced as manual and automatic BOP

Manual BOP

  • Opening and closing of the ram driven by manual, do not need BOP control system

  • Less parts, compact structure, small size, light weight.

  • Side door made of low alloy forging, pressure bearing ability.

  • Can be provided with worm device, effectively reduced the labor intensity.

  • Low manufacturing cost, easy maintaining.

Automatic BOP

  • Shut well quickly, it can shut well within 3~8 seconds.

  • Easy to operation, it is hydraulic actuated.

  • Ram chamber adopts long circular cross section, strengthevenly, good resistance to pressure Side door ASSY can straight-Line switch by hydraulic, easy to change the Ram ASSY, easy maintenance

  • Side door sealed with floating seal instead of mechanical seal

  • RAM shaft sealed with three sealing, reliable seal

  • Ram rubber used self-contained seal, has a large amount of rubber reserves

  • More extended functions, the installation of shear booster device, hydraulic lock device, etc

Wellhead (ESP)

Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs) are a type of artificial lift system used in the oil and gas industry to lift fluids, primarily hydrocarbons, from a well to the surface.

As for ESP Wellhead:

  • Suitable for ESP cables of various sizes, reliable insulation and sealing capability

  • Equipped with cable penetrator and SSV control lines

Applications

  1. High-Volume Wells:
ESPs are often used in wells where the reservoir pressure is not sufficient to lift fluids to the surface naturally. This is common in mature fields where reservoir pressure has declined.

  2. Heavy Oil and Sand Production:
ESPs are effective in lifting heavy oil and handling wells with sand production.

  3. Offshore and Subsea:
ESPs are employed in offshore and subsea applications where it may not be feasible to use other artifificial lift methods

X-Mass Tree

A Christmas tree is a piece of equipment that provides flow control on a oil or gas well.

Christmas trees are a vertical assembly of valves with gauges and chokes that allow for adjustments in flow control as well as injections to stimulate production. The valves that comprise some of the decorations on the Christmas tree are opened when the oil or gas well is ready to produce and the processing and storage facilities are ready to receive.
